Dr. Parasuram Gopinath, (OBG)

PROFILE

Dr. Parasuram Gopinath is the Senior Consultant & Scientific Director at CIMAR. He is also a teaching faculty at the parent hospital Edappal Hospitals Pvt Ltd which is a National board recognised centre for DNB (OBG), FNB (Reproductive Medicine) & FNB (High risk pregnancy and Perinatology).

He completed post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology, his work has been mainly focused on infertility and embryology. He had undergone further training in Advanced Reproductive Techniques like Oocyte Cryopreservation, IMSI, IVM, etc. from several centers in Singapore, Germany & Canada.

He has personally done over 5000 ICSI procedures and was instrumental in introducing the technique of IMSI in South India. He is the recipient of the Manish Bankar Young Achiever Award for clinicians at the National conference of Indian society of Assisted Reproduction in 2019. He is also the recipient of the Champion of ISAR (2019), Emcure ISAR young talent award (2022) and ISAR MEYER Youth ICON award (2023). He holds several important posts in different state and national fertility associations in India.

He is an Invited speaker at Several National conferences on Infertility and does also have several publications to his credit.
